There's an incredibly slight similarity ... sort of ... but hardly
enough for me to match them up. Great song by Tony Martin, btw.

Yes, same notes (other than the fact that they are in different keys) -
major scale descending from "do".

He sure did. And making allowances for his advanced age, he still did
as recently as his 2007 concert at Feinstein's.
