I guess I figure that not to many of you heard this before and I do
not believe it was Re-Pro-ed as well. It is a very RARE item to have
in your collection.
The Price guides list it at $3000

Is this the same "Soda Pop" that the Moonglows had in 1958? I always liked
it, despite it being very Popish.
"Ice cream and soda and ginger ale on top
What's the initials of your sweetheart?
A, is it Al, who .................
B, is it Bob, who has to get a job
C, is it Carl, who taught you how to stroll?
Oh, baby, let it be, oh, let it be me e e e e e
Or something like that.

I have the record. It's the original Blenders doing an x-rated version of the
great Jay-Dee side, "Don't Play Around With Love". On the label, Kelway 101,
it's "Don't !@#$%^& Around With Love". It was never really issued and I don't
know who put it out. I got it at Relic Records many years ago.
Michael from Teaneck, formerly of Tenafly & Washington Heights
I liked it and give it a ((7)). Nice up tempo and sax break!

Come on Norm Gimmie-A-Break here. Most of the records that are RARE
never made it..especially if it had no air play and it was a first
small pressing. Nobody bought it cause no one sold it..I have never
seen it for sale in the late 50s early 60s..Listen to it a few times
it may grow on you. Unless because you do not have it..That could be
an On the Brain Problem here :))

Thanks...
Mmmmm wonder what place you would be on line?

I have an mp3 of it. I found it a bit annoying, so I'm not rushing to
post it, but if you really want to hear it, just encourage me a little
. . .

Using my standard measure (invert Norm's grade to get my own) I ought
to like this song a lot. But I don't. It's badly made and badly sung,
especially at the beginning. It improve as it goes along, though. I'd
give it a gentleman's C, and am adjusting my standard measure
accordingly. :-)

Same here.
I don't see what the big complaint is about this record. I've heard
far worse. It would be a welcome addition to any 50's oldie show.

A couple of hundred I agree... Or FIND a nice M- copy :)

National 9111 "Count Every Star" The RAVENS (I remember Ronnie getting
it) A GREAT record

Columbia 39408 The RAVENS "You Foolish Thing" ( I never cared for
those very DEEP sounds as well)

The Nutones "Believe" Hollywood Stars 798 (Never heard it) I would
like to hear the flip from the rarer copy "Annie Kicked The Bucket"

"How Could You Hurt Me" The TEASERS Checker 800 (Never heard it)

What would you pay for the Jets on GEE ???
I as well as others would love to see some of your want list?
The FOS
I have to agree with you here MD (No Doctor's Pun intended)... I'd
love to hear the very RARE (According to Price Guides) that I have
never heard before. This is one of the reasons I posted it. Just
glad everyone has a chance to hear it..
The FOS
Or added to your Collection if you found one..
