1. And the answer is!

It was Hank Williams' last number one hit on the Billboard Country Chart.

2. And the answer is!

When he left for the army he was replaced in the Royals by Hank Ballard

3. And the answer is!

In the May 25, 1959 issue of Billboard, for the first time there were 2
separate Best Selling Album Charts, one for mono and one for stereo.
This was the top selling stereo album on that first chart.

4. And the answer is!

This person was the first black recoding artist to be featured on the cover
of Billboard magazine in the 1950s.

5. And the answer is!

An audio answer. He is the musician who is playing the saxophone on this elongated break.

You mean the answer has to be as

"Who is Sam "The Man" Taylor"

We never got "Jeopardy" over here I don't think so excuise me for
considering that kind of answering more than a tad on the dopey side

Howver if it makes you happy...................

Merv Griifin's descendants make a huge amount of money from JEOPARDY and WHEEL OF FORTUNE as he created both shows. Jeopardy gives you the answer and you must supply the question to get it correct.

You did, actually, but not for very long.

<<Jeopardy! is a British game show based on the US version of the same
name. It was originally aired on Channel 4 from 12 January 1983 to 2
July 1984, hosted by Derek Hobson, then was revived by ITV from 3
September 1990 to 9 April 1993, first hosted by Chris Donat in 1990 and
then hosted by Steve Jones from 1991 to 1993 and then finally on Sky One
from 4 December 1995 to 7 June 1996, hosted by Paul Ross.>>

It adds a little drama to the show--the contestant knows the right
answer but loses the round because they didn't put it in question
format. This show is currently in its 38th season, but it actually
debuted in 1964 and was on until 1975. Then there was a break, then it
was on again in 1978-79, then another break, and it came back in 1984
and has been on ever since. I watched it in the 1960s but haven't kept
up with the current version.

Folks, I suggest that if you want to see if you can get any of these each day that you stay away from Roger's posts until after you try and get them yourself, as surely he will usually be able to answer most, if not all of them on most days. I do have a couple of tougher one that he may not get for tomorrow, and I will also debut the show's for of questions with dollar amounts with the bigger money ones supposedly being harder.

The $100 one will be the easiest one each day and the $500 dollar one the hardest.
