I bought it to hear the (hilarious) version of Star Me Kitten with Burroughs
but there are some cool other tunes on it. The "hidden" tracks are a neat
extra...

Seeing as we're on the topic of the soundtrack, I just wanted to say that
last night I was watching Musiqueplus (the french version of Muchmusic)
and they had just finished playing "crush with eyeliner" (they've been
playing it a lot lately). Then they cut back to the vj, whose name is
Claude Rajotte (who actually resembles Stipe in a wierd way). And he
started nattering away about REM in french and said something to the
effect of "pour les grands "fans" du band, un de leurs chansons "star me
kitten" sera sur la bande originale du serie les "X-files" chante par
l'auteur William S. Burrows...." which basically translates to what we
already know here. Anyway, I just thought it was kind of cool to hear the
guy speaking about the band in french and how cool it is to know
french like I do. And besides, it gave me an excuse to tell you about how
Claude Rajotte kind of looks like Micheal Stipe.

When you start playing track #1, just hit the rewind button for approx
9 mins (a little more than that) and you'll hear two songs.
Don't remember the titles right now, although if you check alt.tv.x-files
there's somebody who probably posted the titles.
BTW, I apologize if someone has already posted this

Hmmm... someone cited this to me:

Uhhh...that wasn't me. I DID post a message about it, but I wasn't asking
for a hint as to what they were. I was posting how to find the tracks. In
other words, I wasn't the "asker" here.

Hmmm...Now I need R.E.M. content. I saw P. Buck on MTV (my roommate was
watching it...I didn't turn it on...please believe me...) yesterday on
their "news". He was commenting on some band, but I forgot which one.
See--I wasn't paying close attention to MTV--please believe meeee...

If you're still interested in finding them . . .
Play track 1, then hit the rewind button
Keep doing this until the track reads -9:00 (I think it's
a little longer than 9 mins though

If your cd player doesn't do this, then just try another player.
It seems some cd players don't have the red book specification.

Hope this helps
I apologize if you already got help
