just wondering about mailing lists for r.e.m. i'm sure there are lots
of them, but i'm looking for a main list if there is one... or whatever
is good w/o too many obnoxious people. heh.

Send "subscribe remarks youra...@host.com" in the body of an e-mail to
majo...@athens.net to join REMarks, a popular and general R.E.M. listserv
based in Athens, Georgia.

There are others. Replace 'remarks' with 'mla,' for Mumbles Lovers
Anonymous, the Michael Stipe discussion list; 'oicm3h,' the Organisation
Intended to Catapult Mike Mills into Musical History; or DATG, which used to
be Drum and Tractor Guy for Bill and is now an information, news and reviews
outlet.

Most subscribers are great. I'm always very obnoxious, though.
I'm joking.
