being an american, i grab my arsenel of Hand Guns and Uzi, march down
to the local record store and steal everything, then later get some
Canadian to sort out what is good and what sucks, after that i have
him/her explain the music to me

RELAX Tim! i don't think she was saying americans are too stupid to
understand the Tragically Hip. i think she might have been referring
to the fact that much of the Hip's music deals with Canada and it's
culture -a lot of which goes over Canadians, but they never the less
like the Hip. As far as the whole guns & uzi thing, well, don't come
up here with that shit, even in July, because you'll freeze you ass
off, but i'm sure some of us hockey players would be more than happy
to share some backbacon, donoughts and beer avec toi, eh.
