Don't panic. It's mostly about them arguing when they were making Up.
Some nice pictures though.

It's very much worth buying an actual copy.
The unfortunate thing about it is that Q really did needn't to use that
angle. If they had wanted to, they might have been wiser to do so shortly
after the period of the album's creation itself. The article is
retrospective, more along the lines of "R.E.M. *were* in crisis. Maybe." It
deals with some of the tensions raised in the relationship during the making
of Up and the Idaho summit.
You sense that the writer (or his editors) are trying to spin out a crisis
point, and it almost comes off. Most of us, however, are well aware of the
predicament and the subsequent sorting out, whilst the piece is a good one.
It's just unfortunate because the sort of article that needs to be written
now is the one that describes the success of R.E.M.'s tour, and the newfound
happiness of each member, personally and creatively. Maybe after the tour
ends.
A couple of the photos of the dressing rooms and doors are telling, too.

Yep... my kid is a genius LOL... Well, maybe not a genius, but pretty damn
close I'd bet. She holds her crayons and pencils better then some of the
pre-k kids I used to work with. Can count to five and even sings "head
shoulders knees and toes". She rocks :) I am going to have my hands full
with her... yessiree bob.
Actually 20 months isn't that young for crayons, my preschool class of one
yr olds used them regularly and we did alot of finger painting. My fave
activity with the toddlers was to strip them down to the diaper, roll some
newsprint out and let them "body paint". They had a BLAST doing that. give
them brushes and they went to town on the paper and each other. of course
clean-up was lengthy on that one, i usually waited for a day when i only had
two or three kids in my class.
Well it's off to Babycenter for my daily dose of pg women behaving badly.
Wish me luck LOL

Wait, wasn't this same article posted on your website, Ethan? I am sure it
was. It looked very familiar when I glanced over it, so I just looked at
the pictures and put it with the others.

Yeah, Zack the studio cat. It just looked kind of scared when Mike grabbed
him. The documentary gave me the impression that Mike has some kind of
preoccupation with cats :) cos he comments later on that their performance
at the Tibetan Freedom concert was like a cat standing on a glass table
("one hell of an analogy" as he puts it!)
