The info was in this month's MOJO - they listed the 1st broadcast date
last month accurately and, in good faith, I posted a REMinder about
the broadcast yesterday.
Please don't get snarky with me if this info was wrong. Take it up
with Channel 4. Take it up with MOJO. Take it up with Bertis,
Michael, Peter, jefferson, Bill, George ... but call him anything
but Sue :-)

"Carping critics who predicted the demise of REM after the departure
of drummer Bill Berry are eating humble pie following the band's
biggest career coup - an appearance on Sesame Street , featuring
renditions of the Carpenters' immortal Sing and a 'new' song Furry
Happy Monsters. The group join a pantheon of greats including Tito
Puente and little Richard for an animatronic chuckle fest to be
screened on Channel Four on October 29th and November 11th. "They're a
really strange looking bunch" said Mr Snuffleupagus "But surprisingly
well educated for pop stars"
