What's up with the BUNNY on the T-shirt??

Maybe I"ve missed something.....but is there any significance to the white
bunny on front of the dark green REM t-shirt? I love my shirt, but I never
have an answer when people ask "Why do you have a rabbit on your shirt?"

Hare. On Shirt. As in Hare-Shirt. As in Hairshirt. On Green. The shirt is
green. The album is Green. The song is Hairshirt. Or something.

I guess it's whatever you want it to be. There's no official word on REM song
meanings, let alone teeshirts....

Chris Bilheimer told me that he just loved the drawing and so did the
band. Originally the bunny only had one ear, but the missing ear was
added back on for the t-shirts.

well i mnot really sure im pretty confused to but if u go to
http://www.remhq.com and click the three little buttons on the bottom and
follow lke a million links it has a picture of Micheal Stipe w/ bunny ears on
