Love this tune very much

I read where Otis wrote that while living on a houseboat in Sausalito CA.
Maybe that's why I always think of that song when I'm in SF.
Now listening: Cuss Cuss Lloyd Robinson
Mmm... That could be the real reason! :>)

Gyroscope comes on in the afternoon until 5, and plays a mixture of world
music. Following that is ROCKERS (5pm to 8pm), which is Boston's
supposedly best reggae radio station. Not really best, but the only daily
show (M-F). Some nights the reggae is good, others it isn't. It's a
college radio station, and sometimes the djs talk too much, and other times,
it seems all that they know is Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and John Brown's
Body. They only scratch the reggaematical surface sometimes. But hey...
Any reggae is good reggae when the alternative is no reggae!

seems to me Don Carlos just has more passion in his voice when not
singing love songs... for example, from this same album, the track
'Natty Dread Have Him Credential' is a pretty intense vocal performance
(at least for Carlos' sort of laid back delivery). Still, love the whole
sound.

Big up to the suit-and-tie duo for bringing in vocals by the late Ras Pidow on
track three, "The Outernationalist." Ras Pidow was an enlightened man.

There is also a 12" with Reggae Regular and Clint Eastwood.
Anyone know more???

Please tell us on rmr when you post that, Josh. I'm not familiar with the
artist or the album. I've only been very recently exposed to Thievery
Corporation, for instance, and I'm enjoying the journeys into experiments in
sound.
Yes, drums *are* dangerous.
there is a Reggae Regular LP on Greensleeves called Ghetto Rock..
"Where is Jah" in on it, and every single tune is massive. top rank
