Dear Group,

my tastes in reggae are mostly King Tubby, Augustus Pablo et al., but this
"quasi-reggae" song has been rattling around my head since the '70s - who
performed it ? - was it REALLY an Allman brothers song ?

on a similar tack -

Ozo "Listen to the Buddha" I have this album on vinyl but no means of
playing it - has no business not being reissued ... no MP3s about, guess
I'll have to borrow a minidisk recorder and find a friendly soul who has the
technology ...

Yes, it was indeed an Allman Brothers song. And then Gregg Allman redid the
song on one of his solo albums.

Yep ... it's the Greg Allman song ... done in 1975 JA stylee by one Paul
Davidson (don't know anything 'bout him) ...... produced by L.Shervington on
the Playback label
