The Baldheads Bob refers to are not those who lose their hair naturally. Rasta
are usually recognizable by their locks, a symbol of their separation as JAH
people and their covenant with the Lord JAH Rastafari, and so, those who fight
down Rasta are called "Baldheads". I suppose it could be considered symbolic...
just as Rastas are often called "Dreads", those who reject Rastafari are called
"Baldheads". Seen?
"All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his
head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the
LORD, he shall be holy, [and] shall let the locks of the hair of his head
grow." ~Numbers 6:5

Natty Dread is a person wearing dreadlocks (out of religous reason), i.e. a
Rastafari.

Am I mistaken, or isn't a "comb-some" a Rasta who sometimes cuts his beard
and/or hair, and a "clean-face" is a Rasta who has no dreads.

It's once said that dread of God is, root of all wisdom!
And the Babylon System is the Vampire...
Then, what is a "babylon" or "babylonian"? (Like in Aswads first hit
"Three babylons come to make I in iron"). Is it one thing to be a
babylon and another thing to be a bald-head?
In my way of thinking a bald-head is just a civil servant or maybe a
greedy businessman without knowledge about the peoples needs. Never out
in the reality it´s dangerous to let dem plan the society (or make
corn-plans).
Babylon is the system with strong features of the original Babylon ruled
by Nebudkanessar and others. Apparent equitable and seeming democratic –
but in actual fact a system which allows and beautify awful crimes
against the human race and against ourselves and our own souls.
Off course a lot of people work for Babylon without giving it a
thought....

or work for babylon AND give it a LOT of thought! i would be so bold to
say that 99.99% of people who have a computer and access to this forum
work for the shitstem, whether they admit it or not. now whether they
SUPPORT that system is something else. many work for it while working
against it at the same time...

Yes. It's the old saw again about rendering to Caesar what is Caesar's,
and to Jah what is Jah's.
There are two systems, and unfortunately we hafta pay taxes to Caesar's
system.......

What happens when you play that song backwards?

Sorry about that. English is not my first language. 'Israelites' is another
difficult one.
By the way: somebody (maybe a babylonian) has told me that Toots Hibbert and
Mick Jagger were good friends already back in the 60ies. Ska and Rock Steady
were big at Jamaica, and every month young groups like the Maytals tried to
introduce a new style or a new dance. Toots made a new song for a new style
and when he should name it he just took Mick's last name backwards:
JAGGER = REGGAJ, and changed it to REGGAY and later to REGGAE because it was
pronounced that way.
The song was "Do The Reggay", and it was the first time that word was mentioned.
This can't be true, or can it?
Stefan
"Natty Dread" is actually "Knotty Dread," pronounced nahtty because of
the Jamaican accent. Check out bobmarley.com.

I'd like to belief that a 'baldhead' should be used for persons with a
certain attitude, menaing people without dreadlocks, could be
considered 'Rastas' and people with dreadlocks can sometimes be
considered as 'baldheads'.
The same applies to the definition of Babylon. In my signature file it
reads "Babylon is not a place, but a state of mind" and I firmly
believe this.
I work within the Babylon system so to say, I live in it, but I don't
agree with all its ethical values and the way the rat race is held.
I simply try to keep up my head, and decide for myself, which isn't
always easy, but people get used to a positive attitude, and the
honesty of opinions given. I was asked, before starting to work with
my current employer by one of their topmanagers, who was already
familiar with me and my views on life in general, to keep them low
profile, until people knew me better. He was convinved I could be of
great value to the company, even when I would always be the person I'd
like to be as soon as people were used to me. It has completely worked
out that way, and after two and a half years, they are used to my
personal views, and the fact that I will always act in accordance with
them, no matter if it suits within our corporate culture or not.
"The system is a fraud" but we're caught in it, and will have to
survive.

roots-ee: babylon is a place and system that makes the rules, and babylon is
is a place and system that breaks the rules. ( check out a former local reggae
group who recorded this song. :-)))
babylon is a state of mind that fits this system and in this iwa i&i
constantly live in this environment...so as i&i live in babylon i&i fight
against babylon daily...the struggle is from the cradle to the grave...
so i&i need positive upliftment, for example jah music to keep i&i going
etc...

True yah. In I and I tradition dreadlock one means divine one. Dreadlock
Rastaman respect the Theocracy Nyahbinghi Order of the Universe, not
Democracy (Demonicracy) Babylon, what is ruled by baldheads mentioned in
Bob“s song and for this goverment Rastaman is dread and terryfying. Yes,
Ras Tafari dread nuff, cause him speak by brimstone, flash lightning and
earthquakens. Rastaman see all this clear, cause ras don“t see through the
eyes like baldheads, but by the I and I divine locks, dem I and I antens,
cables for floving of ancient IN form itation . Ises.
