Luciano and the Firehouse Crew hit Rochester, NY and gave a
sparsely attended but high energy show. I am a big fan of Luciano so
I hope people will take this in the right way.

Luciano has a lot to learn about show business. It's bad policy to voice
negative feelings about the size of the crowd to the folks who paid more
than $20 a ticket. We're there. Also don't give orders to the audience
and if you do don't get vexed if the orders are ignored. Don't expect to
be adored from the moment you come out, many people like an artist in
concert to prove themselves. Above all, remember that you're job is to
entertain the audience.

That being said, Luciano has definite superstar potential. He is a
dynamic vocalist and quite a tasty songwriter. In my opinion, he needs
to concentrate more on the reggae vibe, many tunes were not reggae at all.

Hopefully, he doesn't end up like Pato Banton, where the preaching over-
powers the music and relevancy is left behind, but goes on to be a Rasta
reggae icon.

What do people say about this remark? Cause for I sometimes it you
know is very hard to entertain the people dem, ca dem do things Iman
no waan do because of Jah.
I and I nah play for big audience but I and I you know play in
youthcentre and thing. But also for people dem ah seh you know, you
must entertain we. But I am not a clown that laughs and joke, it is I
mission to tell the people dem what Jah Jah say, in a reggae riddim.
Just like so many reggaesingers I am more than a singer, I am a
messenger man. Them waan fe listen and space out on de music I know
that, but the message is in the music and should be forwarded to the
people dem.

But is their choice. Iman a make dubwise on tapes you know, people dem
love it. People dem come out of afrika because dem situation too dread
you know ovah deh so dem a come over here and dem a love reggae seen.
Dem a like Iman music. A lot of young peoples you know smoking and
pills and thing, so them a play Iman dubwise and them spaced out seen.
Iman a love that when them a like Iman music but then Iman would so
like dem to reason with Iman over the message.

So. not only entertaing, also educating. Iman know Andy that your
article wasn't about education, stricktly entertainment. Still, Iman a
wonder what people dem af fe say about it.
