Pink Floyd takes back the #1 position from Roxette. Fans from Pink Floyd and
Roxette are in a fierce battle to get their favourite artist on that most
important position in the list. They are changing places every few weeks,
which will probably continue to happen until another group or artist decides
to jump to #1, sending both Pink Floyd and Roxette down the chart. This
third group or artist could very well be Def Leppard or Radiohead, both
climbing upwards with steady force.
In its third week TAFKAP/Prince is only at #19, which is a bit disappointing,
considering the fact that his single Dinner with Delores shot to number one
in our global Singles Top 100 last week, before most national sales charts
even had it listed. At this moment the Prince fans value the single better
than the album, but this may change in the near future.
With 1088 people being active voters for our global Albums Top 100, we trust
that the list will get more and more weight on the Internet over time. Be
sure to make your friends aware of this Chart, and get them to vote for your
favourite artists. We can't have Pink Floyd and Roxette battle it out
forever. Send some other artists up the charts, and watch what happens in
