i don't think there is one. all the jamaican recordings record sleeves say
things like "from the original tapes" or "long-lost original dubs", but it
sounds different than other things from that time.
to me that horace album is wicked (don't try to use me dub, etc) but it does
sound like the voice was added later - even recently. there is a cat named
newton working in bunny lee's studio, or was not too long ago, who may have
taken the original multi-track tapes and THEN re-dubbed them. i think this may
be the case for a lot of these releases, back to/through 'tubby's hidden
treasures' etc.
can't confirm though.
