First of all, I want to thank you for a good year. The Artist Shop
went a little OVER it's sales objectives for 2001 which made for a
significant increase over the previous year's sales. In an era where
dot com businesses are failing left and right, and many still around
aren't doing that well either, I'm proud to report that The Artist
Shop is alive and well and continues to thrive.
For this, I owe a sincere thank you to two groups of people. First to
the progressive artists, those who continue to make new and vital
music that refuses to fit into the McDonald's method of marketing
music. Second to you, the progressive music fans, who have rejected
the idea that the major music corporations know what the best music
for you is. Because of you, progressive music continues to thrive!
And it seems The Artist Shop will be around for quite a while. If
anything, I may need to find a bigger space!!!
As a thank you for making 2001 such a good year (and so I don't need
to start hunting for that bigger space so soon-LOL!), The Artist Shop
