It would probably be easier to list band sites that _don't_ suck. Actually,
replace 'band' with any other word, and it's still true.

Hugh Hopper's, for one, is incredibly resourceful, well-organized, and
entertaining. The model of what an artist website should be. Lessee, where's
that URL? Here, found it:

? I found the AP website quite informative, when I last checked it
out. Could there be two different official sites, perhaps?

Did you know there's a new Zappa album out? One that you can only
get from the Zappa family web site? You certainly wouldn't know
from *reading* the Zapppa family web site, because they don't
mention it anywhere.

In article <38c5a615...@newsserver.epix.net>,

So how did you get the info? And what is the album? Is it that FZ plays
FZ album, or am I thinking of something else?

The new one is called "Everything is Healing Nicely". It's recordings
of the hearsal sessions for the orchestral Yellow Shark shows. Good
stuff, if you like Zappa's "serious" side.

I heard about it because I'm a lurker on alt.fan.frank-zappa. If it
weren't for that, I still wouldn't know it existed. To buy the thing,
you have to go to the Barfko-Swill on-line sales area of www.zappa.com
and dig a bit to find the new CD.
