I've just started to really appreciate coffee over the last few years, and I
have to admit to loving the *bold* flavors of Starbucks. I like stuff like
the French Roast, the Kenyan . . . just normal, but strong flavors. Not
real fond of nuts and berries and creams and stuff. Just normal, strong
coffee, served black.
So, many can agree that Starbucks is best.
But -
Is there a consensus on what's the best convenience store coffee? I agree -
7-11 sucks. Dunkin' Donuts is fooling themselves if they think they're any
good. How about Wawa? Or Sheetz? Any convenience store out there serving
anything decent?
Any good coffee in the Lehigh Valley? Cause there's no Starbucks, yet.

good question. i have a wawa right down the street from my house and
at one point i was going there every morning b4 work because the
s-bucks was too out of the way. i love how they are constantly brewing
fresh coffee and even have attendants to make sure no pots go
unnoticed. it's really good coffee and probably my choice for best
convenience store coffee...but i swear it's centuries behind starbucks.
btw...yukon is my fav coffee of the day.

im addicted to starbucks, coffee from most generic places is terrible and I
almost want to say i think that other small coffeeshops try too hard to make
their coffee unique and in turn just ruin it.
in philly, and out here at school (columbus,oh) it runs
1.40 for a tall
1.60 for a grande
1.70 for a venti
no tax on it in ohio though , im not exactly sure why

unless it is an absolute last resort. Plus the stuff from small independent
coffee shops generally blows Starbucks out of the water. Look around, I'm
sure you can find an alternative around somewhere. Ya just have to look a
little harder.

we have these little 8x8 parking lot stores that are popping up all
over the place called mountain mudd espresso. i think it may be an
east coast thing right now though..not sure.

No, I just prefer a good cup of coffee. If you've ever had a cup of local
roasted (or EVVVEENNN freshly roasted...mmmmmMmmM!) coffee, you'll know that
starbucks tastes like crap. Good coffee envigorates the senses and doesn't
dull your tastebuds, it's like drinking a fine wine. Starbucks is over-roasted
and over powering. It just doesn't really taste as good as it should. I think
Starbucks has done excellent as a buisness, and that's all good, but it's also
made a generation of people coffee snobs, when they don't even know what a good
cup of coffee is...
I started off drinking starbucks...but once you've had the real deal...it's
really really hard to call starbucks a "good cup of coffee".
Their employees attitudes in my area are all top notch, and the buildings
they're in are all really comfortable, which is a plus...
Starbucks just isn't my "cup of tea"

that their local 7-11 has the best tasting coffee around. i've had
