to the lack of finished hoods this tour...
i agree with everyone- it is VERY disturbing to think that i might see
a harry hood this tour that will be unfinished. i have not even been
blessed with the opportunity to hear a harry hood at a phish show i've
been to. i have tickets for 5 shows this tour though and i assumed
that i would be experiencing the magic of harry hood sometime within
those 5 shows- but now i'm scared. how does it feel to not hear the
orgasmic "you can feel good, good, good about hood!" ? seriously, i'm
convinced that this could prove damaging to the soul of phish
lovers... maybe we should start a help group...
anyway, i was thinking about hood. perhaps hood will become another
phish surprise type of thing. for instance, this tour (i'm going from
memory here) phish has NOT finished 2 hoods, but HAS finished one.
maybe phish is going to stop finishing hoods except on VERY special
occasions. 5 or 6 years from now when the issue of finishing hood has
passed, people will remember the days of the finished harry hood.
phish might go for 3 tours without finishing a hood--- but then, once
in a GREAT while, the flow will be so perfect at a show, that trey
will lose his self-control and finish a hood. think about it- could
you imagine 3 or 4 tours worth of unfinished hoods and then--- trey
just losses it and finishes harry hood. imagine the intesity! imagine
the tape grovels! a show with a finished hood might become as
legendary as a halloween show. that would be grand. then again, if
they stop finishing hoods, they may as well stop playing it...
ok- if you've endured my mindless babble until now, i have to ask if
anyone wants to trade for the 9/29/95 show. i have a copy (on the way-
here by thursday guaranteed) and am interested in trading for OTHER
FALL 95's ONLY OR, i will trade with tapers who are going to be taping
one of the following shows:
10.22, 10.24, 10.27, 10.28, 10.31
i would be willing to do an advance trade for one of these shows once
they are taped. if interested, please let me know... uh...lemme
think....nope. nothing else i can think of except that i AM ABSOLUTELY
INSANE with anticipation for my first show on the 22nd! i can't
wait...
