The Summer '95 Tour Week Two Structure
(6/14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20/95)
(Special thanks to Mikey Perrott. This man is responsible for each of the
tapes we've all enjoyed via these trees. Sometime during the Fall we should
have a 'Mikey Appreciation' Show - someone want to call Phish, let 'em know
when he'll be there? grin)
This is the last tree of the Summer Tour Tree series. It began with
Week 4, followed by Week 3, 1, now 2. If these shows do not spread as
well as I think they will, I would be open to putting together another
series of trees for all those left off Week4 or those just too late with
the application(s). If there is enough interest, I think we'd tree them in
halves this time: First half (6/7-6/20) and Second half (6/22-7/3). This
will only be possible if there's enough time after everyone is accounted
for on these trees before the Fall tour begins.

Let's tree EVERY tour. Can you imagine if we'd started this
LAST year? The year before? Earlier? There would be tons of insanely
high quality Phish out there instead of the old, beaten and worn shit I've
been used to getting. I'm sure we can keep everyone stocked with tapes
below 5th gen analog from this past tour on.
I will be at this address (snail and e-mail) until AT LEAST the
beginning of the summer of '96. If no one jumps up to tree the fall tour,
I'll be there to do it.
FALL TOUR PLAN:
I don't think we're going to have time between the two halves of the
fall tour to relax and tree the first half at leisure, but I have a plan to
tree it anyway:
The beginning of the Fall tour is a Monday (not sure-too tired to check)
but let's just say it's Monday... The DAY of the very first show, whichever
day it is, we announce the Week One Fall Tour Tree. Sign-ups would last until
that Saturday and the structure would be posted that Sunday. The Week Two
Fall Tour Tree would be announced the next Monday. So on until the end of
the tour. This would be an experiment in high-speed, no nonsense, no-mistake
treeing. Whoa, big phun. :)
Of course, this whole idea relies on the accessibility of the tapers,
many of whom we won't hear from during the tour. In the event that a show in
the middle of one of the weeks is missing (the taper's missing, that is),
sign-ups for that Week would run until that show (taper) is accounted for and
ready to seed. If a single show (taper) is missing from either end of the week,
we'd carry-over that show to the week either preceding or following it (in
the event that show preceding the missing show week ALSO has a missing show,
otherwise just tacked on to the following week).
I suspect a few weeks here and there will not be available for some
time after the shows, but we've got to take into consideration everyone's busy
Fall schedules and taping tours. I can assure you, however, the Fall Tour
will be treed.
NOTE TO TAPERS:
This all relies on you, of course. We are making things easier on
you, as I'm sure you're well aware(grin), by distributing your tapes to all
these people at once. If you intend to tape any of the Fall Tour(s), I am
recording notes of this in preparation for the next tour. Please drop me
a line at unt...@gold.mv.net. Thanks very much - you probably don't
remember how bad some of these analog tapes can get. :)
