What's the story with this song? Is it on an album that I've missed?
Has it been around? It was played on 11/1 before Slave.

On the new 'joy' disk. You can listen to the whole disk at

The 8-7 version is out of this world. The calypso jam that ensues
before the segue into Taste that might be my favorite moment of Phish
3.0.

Thanks, everybody. I bought Joy through dry goods as soon as it was
available. Shows the impression it made . . . But their studio
albums have always been hit or miss affairs, for me, Joy just doesn't
hit me. Or, it hasn't yet. I look forward to downloading some of the
live stuff from '09 and checking out the new songs from shows.

Personnally I would keep a door open in your heart for joy. It is
positive and yet deep....and actually with bittersweet sadness as
well.

When it first came out I would listen to it every morning during my
commute and it brightened my day. It's not badass, mind-blowing
phish, but it grows on you.
