if "monty python and the holy grail" is playing in your town, (it's in
re-release)......

i IMPLORE you to go see it.
even if you've seen it 50 times on tv.

much like homer's nerdy college roomates, i know this entire movie, yet i
was CRACKING UP the other night. a lot of that was from hearing kids (lots
there w/ their parents [what a great thing to share w/ a kid]), hearing
these kids CRYING b/c they were laughing so hard, b/c this was the first
time they had seen it.

ok, back to yelling at favre for not throwing to freeman,
go see the flick, it's worth the $8, more than any movie released in the
last year or so.

gil, the shrubber

I have a suggestion for you. Why don't you try turning off the tv, and
reading a book. I could recommend you one if you like. I'm reading
Tom Robbins' "still life with woodpecker". You could take the dog for
a walk, smoke a bowl, pick your nose, talk on the phone. Listen to
phish instead of watching tv. you could spend more time on rmp. But
for gods sake don't lower yourself to the television, for the tv is the
vice of our society. Just watch how much money you'll save by having
the television turned off.

ironically enough, "even cow girls get the blues" was turned into a movie
which i saw on tv the other day.

Yea, you're right....tom robbins is much more fulfilling than a good
simpson's episode...and those cohen brothers, all these years i
thought experincing their films enhanced my life in some way but i was
really just wasting my time and money......i guess my dreams of making
a movie of my own were ridiculous as well...shit, glad i caught this
ray of clarity, I owe it to you sloth.......i used to think that a
valid goal in life was being happy, but now i see the light....thank
you obi-wan

but wait...is tv the vice or is certain programing the vice?

oh, i forgot...this was another self-righteous waste of time provided
by our resident sloth.....you're the best!!!
i would mention the book i'm reading now, but i'd probably come off
sounding like an asshole
