Dave
Oh sure, the marcman can't go midwest phishin' and all of a sudden
he's OUT of the cool kids club . . . fine, have your private email
dalliances, see if I care . . .
Don't be so sensitive, I thought you were from NY. BTW, I don't want to
hear you moaning about missing any Midwest dates with 4 New Years shows
in your back yard.
I've got a 4000 mile round trip just to see Detroit and Cincy...which
reminds me, where is DEG? If he doesn't get back to me soon I might
have to miracle some wookie bitch outside the door with his ticket...I'm
still laughing about that one.
Good luck on those NYE tix...not that you should necessarily take my
advice, but...I'm thinking those won't be that hard to get (I could
certainly be wrong, it's happened before, though I might be mistaken).
If the last couple tours/festies, etc. are any indication, the
speculators jump in and then the first buyers get fucked and/or pay too
much either in primary market fees, or in the secondary market.
I still can't believe that Midwest shows are not even sold out, let
alone selling at a fraction of the cost when they went on sale. The
same thing happened on both summer tours and at Indio too. I don't care
what number they say, there were probably half as many people as they
originally hoped/planned for.
There might be some Northerners who want to get out of the cold and see
some Phish shows, but I predict some reasonable prices for those that
are willing to wait. The question is, can you wait and take a chance
that this is the time it'll be different? C'mon Marcman, you're a
trader, do you go jump in, or do you go short and cover when the price
collapses? What a dilemma...at least my dilemma is whether to
resubscribe to Sirius so I can listen live, or wait a day and download it?
Good luck with whatever you do...I mean on the tickets, but what the
heck, good luck to you in general :)
See ya,
Dave
