Harry Hood. I don't know why, but for some reason that songs bores me. Just
does.

Too short if you're getting it off Rift. How about Foam or Contact?

I totally agree 150%....divided sky and Esther in a close second are two of
the best songs to jam your way right into slumberland....
Just remember, sleeping with a cassette or a DAT may be hazardous to your
health. Just thought I'd warn you.

Not if you take the proper precautions...
BTW, I prefer to sleep with cassettes... I kinda like to 'flip' half way
through.
Gordon (who probably should get out more) Sharpless
Slave to the Traffic Light---it's got that soft section in the middle
and just as you doze the intensity of the second half of the song hits
you. It makes for cool dreams.
i know this is like a huge load of cheese, but I like to sleep to
Bouncin. :)
Or hell, just smoke a little Kind...:-)

I've also used Genesis' "Trick of the Tail" to good napping effect -- the
first tune is kind of hectic, but then you doze off when Entagled rolls
around.

For me it's definitely Squirming Coil. The piano solo at the end is,
IMHO, one of the most relaxing moments in Phish music.
I am in complete agreement with this statement, but coming in a close
second would have to be Harry Hood for this little milk drinker.

Yeah, right -- and have nightmares all evening! That middle section has
gotta be the most disturbing I have ever heard the boys sound! "Do

ahh i dont think id choose that one, i think its more exilerating, it felt
awesome listening to it while i was landing in France from the U.S.(DAYdreaming
about going to see them on Tour in paris or normandie "santana/PHISH"
but i was later suicidally depressed when i couldn't see either!
but seeing "A Goofie Movie" in France, "Dingo et Max" helped me from killing
myself in France, and looking forward to seeing Trainspotting, here at
home,(tons of Trainspotting ads in France)
ANYWAY i think that the Phish song that i would fall asleep too would be...
one of those lower toned songs like "If i could I Would" or "Dog Faced Boy"

I saw that show and still freak out when I hear that whispering
bit...This qualifies as the most out there Phish I've ever seen.
As for phish to sleep to, put on horse>silent from Rift...
I love 'em.

I have STTA, bt it is so loud and unharmonious that I don't see how
you could sleep to it. If anybody want to buy it from me, since I've only
used it twice, e-mail me.

Lengthwize has got to be the hands down winner. Just loop that a lot! :)
I'd have to cast my vote for any good live "Coil". The piano coda is
just _so_ soothing,,,

it's got TMWFIY, Alvenu Malkanu, and Divided Sky right there. Aaah.

divided and STTA are good too
I don't know. Rift's hard and kind of pointy. Plus, the jewel
case could break. A Live One, on the other hand, is made of
paperboard and has a little "give" to it, which I like in a
sleeping partner.
