So according to Phish.net:

Phish's shows this year have already included more distinct songs
(208) than any year other than 1998 (240), which had two albums
covered (Loaded and Dark Side of the Moon) plus the "Jukebox Summer
Tour".

Do they have enough shows in the Fall/Winter to play 33 distinct songs
and surpass 98?

I know. I am so sick of people complaining about "too mnay repeats."

I think part of it is: some phans were much younger then, so they only
saw a couple shows each tour...now that they see as many as they want,
they realize that you don't really get totally different songs each
night.

I think it also unfair to dismiss a song that has been repeated.
sometimes a new arrangement, segue or Jam can make the same song quite
different.

Seriously, Phish "fans" have to be the most spoiled, whiny, short-
sighted, collection of "me first" fans of music ever. Maybe if they
are sick of the same song being played once every 3-4 shows they
should go listen to pretty much any other band and enjoy hearing the
same songs played nearly the same way every night? I just don't know
what the fuck people want this band to do? Devise entirely new
compositions every night? Or are these the same asshats that cry and
whine about the lack of "bustouts" yet stand there with their thumbs
up their ass when they play finally play Curtis Loew because they
don't recognize it? It's hilarious and pathetic all in one.

It would be nice if they could figure out the health care debacle.

Oh, I know...another poster knows where my venting was directed.
Again, I'm not sure what the hell these people want.

Haha...I wish. Actually my frustration coincided with writing fucking
stupid-ass lab reports for school...so that gave me the little extra
kick of vitriol that I needed :).
