I've seen the trailer for Ever After (new Cinderella
movie starring Drew Barrymore) a couple of times
now and I'm wondering if anyone knows the (2?)
songs used in the trailer. One is a techno-instrumental
and the other a heavy-reverb pop vocal of which the
only lyric I could make out is "tell me a fable". These
do not seem to be on the soundtrack album (which is
just the orchestral themes). Any pointers are appreciated.
If possible please email me with replies.

In respective order...

"The Mummer's Dance" by Lorena McKennitt
"Fable" (message version) by Robert Miles

Music/Songs on trailers rarely appear in the actual soundtrack or movie, which
is also the case with "Ever After". I agree that it's a shame because both
songs are so good.

The first song on the trailer is "The Mummers Dance" by Loreena Mckennitt. It
is available as a single or on her "Book of Secrets" CD.

The second song is "Fable" by Robert Miles and is available on his Dreamland
CD.

Yet another person here to say that this was exactly what I needed, since the version for the trailer was also mentioned.

I've been trying, not very hard, but still trying, to find this song since the first trailer came out, longer ago than I want to think about right now.

The song if it is the one I am thinking of with the almighty vocal burst is indeed Robert Miles - Fable, you can find it on spotify but it is the "message version" https://open.spotify.com/track/2tDLmlANWMwj8Bqw3Hhljv?si=6641a30df00f49c8
