Thanx in advance.

Vampire's aren't as uncommon as you'd think. Some people are into S&M, some
are into bestiality, others are into drinking their partners blood.

Okay, sounds like some clarification is in order before this gets too
far from reality.
There's a group called the First Church of the Doors in Berkeley, CA.
They worship Jim Morrison as a god. In their newsletter, there are
many line drawings of Jim with vampire fangs, all done by the same
woman. For whatever reason, she likes to depict him this way. I'm
not sure that this means everyone in the Church sees him as such.
As for drinking partner's blood, anybody who's seen _The Doors_
probably thinks that's something Morrison went in for. Nope nope
nope. When he was handfasted to Patricia Kennealy in 1970, they drank
from a chalice which had a few drops of their blood mixed in wine, as
part of the ceremony. Later that year, he got wasted on coke with a
woman named Eva Gardonyi and they did the cut-and-slash blood revel
that was attributed to Kennealy in the movie, except Morrison and
Gardonyi weren't enacting anything that had to do with the Craft at
all -- they were just wasted. (Interestingly, during the handfasting
ceremony Morrison had to get the high priestess to nick his wrist
because he couldn't cut himself -- hardly a vampiric sentiment.)
As for good books (as if _No One Here_ could be considered a good
book), I would recommend _Dark Star_ by Dylan Jones, _Break On
Through_ by James Riordan, and _Strange Days_ by Patricia Kennealy.
