Hear Hear! What 'era' of the Doobies do you prefer, or are you like me and
enjoy it all?

Finally saw them (Tom Johnston version) in concert last August, and it was
a hell of a show. Closed on 'Without You' and I think my eardrums went into
hybernation for a month afterwards. Great!

Since Michael McDonald left the group?

Not I.

Hey, I admit to liking the Djoobie Brothers, too.
Although the MIchael McDonald era stuff is always nice to listen
to, I prefer the more rock and roll stuff more. Their first
few LPs with Tom Johnston as leaser, oopoops, leader are my
favorites. I haven't bothered listening to them in a long
time, but "The Captain and Me" still kicks up the dust on my
turntable when I'm in the mood.

Hey, don't get them mixed up with the Djoubi Brothers from Djibouti, in
eastern Africa.

I've always loved their music, although I nevewr actaully bought any of
their stuff until 1988.

Want to have fun? Put on "Tolouse Street", followed directly by "One Step
Closer", and get anyone else to believe they are the same group...

Best song? 'Long Train Runnin''
