Does anyone have a complete listing of all of the STUMM and MUTECD
catalog numbers used by Mute Records, and of what albums and singles were
released under those numbers? I've been looking over my CD collection, and
it would be interesting to see the order in which Mute released the albums
and singles I so enjoy...

Would there be any interest in putting together such a list and making it
available? It would greatly help Mute Records completists. :)

(no, I don't like Mute Records at all.)

Hmmm.... Am I correct in assuming that you haven't yet downloaded from the
FTP site at mutelibtech.com ?

there seems to be a pretty complete listing there, it's an anonymous ftp site.
Good luck and Happy Holidays!

I have two mini-catalogues, Mute/Documentary Evidence 6 and 7, which came
with my copies of Am I Right? Remix and Abba-esque Remix by Erasure.
These list MUTE and STUMM catalogue numbers, including Blast First and
The Grey Area, and Nova Mute on 7. Number 7 goes through MUTE 149 and
STUMM 117. Unfortunately, none of my recent imports have come with one
of these nice items. I'd like to get one that isn't two years out of date.

Mute has included complete listings of these numbers in many of their
UK releases, typically in the form of a sheet called "Documentary
Evidence".

You can get this information (and a lot more) by telnetting or ftp'ing to
