7. This week's top 50:

It's a second week at the top for Kesha with "Tik Tok" while the
Black Eyed Peas are still at number 2 with "Meet me Halfway",
although they did enjoy a one week stint at the top a couple
of weeks ago and have just gone to number one in the UK with
that song this week. Jay Sean's "Down" is on the move, up from
number 6 top 3, and so is 3OH!3's "Starstukk", up from 8 to 5.
However, the huge leap last week of Lady GaGa's "Bad Romance",
up from number 16 to 3, cannot be sustained as that track slips
back to number 7 this week. And despite a bit of movement
within the top 10, every single that was in last week's top 10
is still there this week - it's just been a bit of a shuffle.

Where the real action is happening is actually on the albums
chart. Four of the top 10 albums are new entries, with
Robbie Williams debuting at number one with "Reality Killed
The Video Star" following on from his recent number 4 debut
with the single "Bodies" which only managed two weeks in the
top 10 before dropping out, although it's enjoyed a slight
rebound this week, up from number 18 to 14. New into the albums
chart at number 3 is the soundtrack from Glee Cast's season
one series which has already spawned 5 entries on the singles
chart in recent months, including a new debut from them this
week. Debuting at number 4 on this week's albums chart is
the 11th studio album by American rock band Bon Jovi titled
"The Circle" which features their new single "We Weren't Born to
Follow". And coming in at number 7 is Vanessa Amorosi's brand
new album "Hazardous" which is flying high on the success of
her first ever number one single, "This Is Who I Am", released
10 years after her debut single "Have A Look" hit the charts
back in 1999.

Back to the singles chart, and let's see what happened to last
week's 4 new entries. Chris Brown's "I Can Transform Ya" hasn't
budged from its number 30 debut last week. 50 Cent's "Baby By Me"
has dived from its number 32 debut down to number 48. Tin Alley's
"Out Of Control" was unable to sustain its number 43 debut from
last week and drops right out of the top 50. Yet last week's
lowest new entry, Orianthi's "According To You", is this week's
massive big mover, climbing 22 spots from number 45 to 23.

Five new entries into this week's top 50.

11. RUSSIAN ROULETTE - Rihanna
CD single: (released 13th November)
Digital track: #10
Music video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5Rgn5WFp-Q
Song lyrics: www.tinyurl.com/ylktbk6
Artist website: www.rihannanow.com

21 year-old Barbados born Robyn Fenty, better known as Rihanna,
first hit the charts back in 2005 with her top 10 hit "Pon De
Replay". During the 4 years since then, it's been a hectic hit
after hit for her, including 11 top 10 singles and 3 number
ones thanks to "SOS" (April 2006), "Umbrella" (June 2007) and
"Don't Stop The Music" (February 2008). "Rated R" is the
title of her fourth studio album and its lead single is the
track "Russian Roulette". "Russian Roulette" is a haunting
pop ballad that debuts here in Australia at number 11 this week
and has already reached the top 10 across much of Europe.

20. EMPIRE STATE OF MIND - Jay-Z featuring Alicia Keys
CD single: (not released yet)
Digital track: #15
Music video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UjsXo9l6I8
Song lyrics: www.tinyurl.com/yl2htsa
Artist website: www.jay-z.com
www.aliciakeys.com

39 year-old American hip hop artist Shawn Carter goes by the
recording name of Jay-Z. His 11th studio album "The Blueprint
3" was released back in September and it debuted at number 9
on the albums chart. From that album came his recent top 10
hit "Run This Town" featuring guest vocals by Rihanna and
Kanye West. Next single off the album is "Empire State Of
Mind" featuring guest vocals by Alicia Keys, and it debuts
at number 20 this week. This single has just shot to number
one in the U.S. and recently peaked at number 2 in the U.K,
so big things are expected of it here in Australia.

37. SWEET CAROLINE - Glee Cast
CD single: (not released yet)
Digital track: #35
Artist website: www.fox.com/glee/

Another song lifted off the Glee Cast's soundtrack to their
first TV series season, this time "Sweet Caroline" which is
a cover of Neil Diamond's 1969 hit.

39. WHATCHA SAY - Jason DeRulo
CD single: (not released yet)
Digital track: #37
Music video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBI3lc18k8Q
Song lyrics: www.tinyurl.com/yhlubyr
Artist website: www.jasonderulo.com

Jason DeRulo is a 20 year-old American singer, song-writer
and dancer, who has been performing since the age of 5 and
wrote his first song when he was just 8. At the age of 16
he was writing songs for big name artists including Sean
Kingston, P Diddy, Lil Wayne and Lil Mama. He eventually
scored a music deal and released his first single "Whatcha
Say" which went all the way to number one on the U.S. charts
recently. Here in Australia, "Whatcha Say" debuts at number 39
and has just this week reached number one in New Zealand.
Jason DeRulo's self-titled album will be released next year.

40. MORNING AFTER DARK - Timbaland featuring Nelly Furtado & SoShy
CD single: (not released yet)
Digital track: (not in top 40)
Song lyrics: www.tinyurl.com/yhsjwrg
Artist website: www.timbalandmusic.com
www.nellyfurtado.com
www.myspace.com/soshymusic

Final new entry of the week goes to Timothy Mosley, also known
as Thomas Crown or the Grammy award-winning producer, rapper
and song-writer Timbaland. While he's been in business for
years as a producer, his big splash onto the international
music charts as a credited artist came when he featured on
Nelly Furtado's single from 2006 "Promiscuous" which went
all the way to number 2. In 2007, he released his highly
successful "Shock Value" album which sold over a million
copies in the U.S. and topped the albums chart in Australia
with triple-platinum sales. That album spawned a string of
hit singles including two number ones - "The Way I Are"
with Keri Hilson and "Apologize" with OneRepublic. The
follow up to that hugely successful album is "Shock Value II"
which will be released next month. The album's first single
is "Morning After Dark" which debuts at number 40 and sees
Timbaland back with Nelly Furtado - the lady that helped make
him a household name back in 2006. Also on the track is 27
year-old Deborah Epstein, a French-American singer and
songwriter who goes by the name of SoShy. The soon to be
released music video for the song won't feature Nelly
Furtado as her verse was only recorded for the album cut of
the song after the music video was shot.
