This chart lists the 100 biggest selling singles in Australia for 1999.
It is based totally on retail sales for the year (approximately from
mid-December 1998 to mid-December 1999), as compiled by the Australian
Record Industry Assocation (ARIA).
Compared to the recent posting of the 50 biggest selling singles of 1999,
the only new information this document contains is the number 51 to number
100 biggest sellers of the year. The commentary and statistical analysis
is not repeated here - the only thing that is repeated is the top 50 singles
to make the top 100 complete. If you are a new subscriber and missed out on
the recently posted analysis of the 1999 singles chart, please feel free to
request a copy.
