As promised, on two full-priced CDs apiece. According to an EMI
spokesperson: "We considered puting the "Red" album on one CD, or issuing
them as value-priced doubles. But we realized that this would somehow
cheapen the packages. So we issued them as full priced doubles in the
interests of the fans. We're now considering going back and reissuing
the rest of the catalogue by breaking each full album into a two CD
set. That's what the fans say they want, and our accountants agree."

full title is: The Name's Lawrence Gowan, But You Can CAll Me Larry.

He's a Canadian musician who has been around for years, never achieving
much success in the States, and touring and recording as "Gowan" only.
He's beocming more a "singer/songwriter" on this album, more folksy. He's
had guest appearances on ablums by Jon Anderson, Alex Lifeson, and regular
band includes Tony Levin. This album looks pretty interesting, actually...

As several of you have pointed out, this makes no obvious sense. As
well it shouldn't, since that line should have read:

If Peter Cetera had ever dated Stevie Nicks...

As with most questionable attempts at humor, any necessity to correct
the quip destroys the punch. And so it goes...

Wasn't GG&HT on the Greatest Hits album that Arista issued on CD years

Certainly, if you aren't going to purchase Greatest Hits, the first

fans will probably all have ordered it as an import by November 2,

Actually, I think the title is: You Can Call Me Larry.

IMHO, that still doesn't detract from the album's quality. Possibly
with the new trend towards a more "acoustic" sound, the album will
get the merit it deserves - it may have sounded too sugarless for the
early seventies, and it was *definitely* not an early-80's type of
album!

Here's hoping it will finally be appreciated by others!
