I heard from a friend that Celine Dion released an album called "D'Eux"
in Canada. Is this true? If anyone has it, could you please e-mail
me and tell me how it is? Thanx.

Celine is scheduled for a US release of an album called "The French Album"
for the first or second week in May. I would guess it's the same album.
She has one song in the French top 20 already.

I can't imagine she would be releasing _new_ albums in Canada only.
Unless of course, it was a French language one, then there would
be little point releasing it the US. Perhaps D'Eux was an early
pre-USfame album?

Presumably there were several Dion albums before she 'condescended' to
enter the world of the Anglophone. I recall when she was a French-only
artist that she had already reached immense popularity in Quebec, but
in an interview said that she would have nothing to do with the
English speaking music industry. Rumour has it (doesn't it always)
that she only grudgingly acquiesed and accepted a Juno award when she
won.

Then again, I've never been a fan of her music, so I could be totally
wrong. Any info from a more informed (and interested) Canadian listener?

Cheers,

Ross.
