rec.music.cd one or two days ago; I found a copy of Miles Davis - _At
Fillmore_ Lp last night and John is definitely not on it). The format is:
artist/group name - album title (release date)
If I'm unsure if John was a musician on the album I follow it's title with
(?). If the album has no new McLaughlin material and is only a compilation
of previously available material, I follow the album title with the comment
(compilation). Questionable release dates are followed by a ? or two years
are shown. Albums that are released on CD (often in Japan or Europe only)
are preceded by an asterisk. I have attempted to list the albums in order of
release date. Warning: John might be on the whole album or he might be on
only one track. Or the McLaughlin tracks may be only samples from other
albums on this list.
