Could someone let me know just what CD Connection is? (a bootleg
joint or otherwise?) I'd really appreciate any info you may have.

CD Connection is a bootleg CD dealer in Germany. *DON'T* deal with
them unless you enjoy giving away money. I've many horror stories
about service from them, not to mention the fact that they ripped
me off for a large sum of money.

Avoid them at all costs.

Anil,

What happened? I'm curious. I know someone else who has bought from them
repeatedly without any problems, except maybe that they didn't have something
he asked for and gave him credit, so now he is carefull to list alternates.

CD CONNECTION have always given me (in the UK) prompt service and the
cheapest prices I've seen so I wouldn't suggest that you write them off
instantly - yes there is obviously a risk in buying from somewhere so
far away but its paid off for me. If you are going to deal with them
make your initial order (if not every order) for one or two disks -
much more than this is just asking for trouble. I'd say try them but
don't hold me responsible if you do get ripped off. They advertise
frequently in US collectors magazine Goldmine and they do supply a
pretty extensive catalogue.
