7. This week's top 50:

It's a sixth week at number one for Lou Bega with "Mambo No. 5" as
that single is on track to be one the biggest selling singles of the
year in Australia. Meanwhile, the Backstreet Boys reverse their big
drop last week by rebounding back up to their debut position of number
3 from a couple of weeks ago. Also doing the rebound thing is Savage
Garden. After dropping from number 5 to 7 in their second week on
the charts, they've climbed steadily back up the chart with their
ballad "I Knew I Loved You" and thus now reach their highest position
so far, that being number 4.

This week's highest entry is actually a re-entry. Sporty Spice Melanie
C entered the charts a couple of weeks ago at number 48 with her punk
rock hit "Goin' Down". It dropped out of the top 50 last week, but
thanks to the large exposure and interest this song has been getting in
the media throughout Australia recently, it re-enters the charts this
week, crashing in at number 25.

Meanwhile, the highest brand new hit into the charts comes from Sydney
band, Human Nature. "Eternal Flame", a cover of the ballad The Bangles
took to number one in May 1989, enters the charts at number 32 this week.
The new single also includes two new tracks plus the video clip for
"Eternal Flame". Catch Human Nature on "Hey Hey It's Saturday" this
coming Saturday night.

Other new entries this week include "Learn To Fly" by the Foo Fighters
at number 40 - their first top 50 hit since "Everlong" made number 45
back in August 1997 and their highest charting single since the top 20
success of "Monkey Wrench" from May 1997. The Vengaboys are back with
a track called "We're Going To Ibiza" which comes in at number 44,
following up on their last couple of platinum-selling number 2 singles,
"We Like To Party!" and "Boom Boom Boom Boom!". And at number 49,
Blessid Union Of Souls return with "Hey Leonardo", which is lifted
off their new album, "Walking Off The Buzz".

HEY LEONARDO (SHE LIKES ME FOR ME) - Blessid Union Of Souls
-----------------------------------------------------------
She don't care about my car, and she don't care about my money
And that's real good 'cause I don't got a lot to spend
But if I did, it wouldn't mean nothin'

She likes me for me, not because I look like Tyson Beckford
With the charm of Robert Redford, oozing out my ears
But what she sees, are my faults and indecisions
My insecure conditions, and the tears upon the pillow that I shed

She don't care about my big screen, or my collection of DVD's
Things like that just never mattered much to her
Plus she don't watch too much T.V.

She don't care that I can fly her, to places she ain't never been
If she really wants to go, I think deep down she knows
That, all she has to say is when

She likes me for me, not because I hang with Leonardo
Or that guy who played in "Fargo", I think his name is Steve
She's the one for me
And I just can't live without her, my arms belong around her
And I'm so glad I found her once again

Gazing at the ceiling, as we entertain our feelings in the dark
The things that we're afraid of
Are gonna show us what we're made of in the end

She likes me for me, not because I sing like Pavarotti
Or because I'm such a hottie, hah
I like her for her, not because she's phat like Cindy Crawford
She has got so much to offer
Why does she waste all her time with me
There must be something there that I don't see

She likes me for me, not because I'm tough like Dirty Harry
Make her laugh just like Jim Carrey, unlike the Cable Guy
But what she sees, is that I can't live without her
My arms belong around her
And I'm so glad I found her once again, found her once again
I'm so glad I found her once again

No wonder the Indonesians are pissed with us.

Isn't that covered as offensive?
