Apparently, there is something you can do to limit the unsolicited
e-mail that pours into your mailbox every day. Check out this site:
(yes, it just has two w's)
You can remove yourself from several mailing lists at a time,
providing the spammer has joined up with these guys. hey, its worth a
try.
Also, there is a link to the admin of this place. Send 'em this
message like I did:
I want to give you a very personal "Thank you" for your small
attempt to stop spam. I am hoping that responding to you with my
"empty email message" will end much of the spam I recieve. Just in
case your automated remove fails, please send no more spam to this
address:
<your address here>

Warning - many web sites, advertising that they can remove your name
from advertiser's lists, are actually set up to collect email addresses
for advertisers.
When you contact the web site, your email address is added to their
lists that are sold to advertisers. The end result is that you get more
advertising email than ever before.

|The mail I sent to this server was returned. Don't let that stop you
|from responding though. Keep sending until they get it!
In other words, you are suggesting that we spam ourselves????
