Yes, I kind of drifted out of the Facebook routine a bit... I do try
to pop in and hit some "I likes", which are intended to infer volumes
& many *wink winks*... & of course to try to plug whatever I have
going on. Last night out at the Del Ranch in Smith's Station Alabama
should have been filmed, it was pretty smashing, from my perspective
and everyone I encountered. Henry Conley teamed up with the pros from
Dover rhythm team of Robert Earl (bass) & Donnie (drums) along with
me, Geno & Sandy as "special guests" and they were on fire, which
inspired us likewise, keeping the locals dirty dancing, fighting &
loving. Del Ranch is one of those classic rural honky tonks that
probably would have fit in nicely in your first book, just up the road
from Smith's Station High School, which Conway Twitty attended for a
while... the big promos coming next month will be on the 2nd Schryl
Carden Breast Cancer Benefit there on December 13th. I played that one
with Conley last year, and it was great fun, should be even better
this year, I'd wager:

Nothing you do could ever be classified as "performance."

Sure, if you want to kill him. I'd think he would pull the IV out and hang
himself with it than listen to something that bastardized and abhorrent.

And not to anyone else either, dimwit. A shame, but not altogether
surprising, that the only person who can stand to listen to you
is...yourself.

You completely missed his point and dodged it entirely all while making

Thanks Will. She's in great shape. Tall, blond and athletic... She'd
kick Meat Plow's whining ass. I actually got the "save the ta-ta's"
phrase from a woman involved in Think Pink.

Check out the video of Sammy Hagar's new band Chickenfoot on my
website. It kicks ass.

Glad to see/hear Sammy Hagar's still keeping on, while he did some
great work with Van Halen, he was such an overpowering force that VH
pretty much became his backing band, no doubt much to the frustration
of the others, which I think had a lot to do with old Dave Lee leaving
in the first place. Speaking of DLR, I wonder what he's been up to all
these years... he came through here over a decade ago looking like he
was ready to do a comeback of sorts, then promptly vanished again.

And I think I read that Van Halen himself was having some cancer
problems of his own... no, I haven't kept up with that soap opera
(which of course incorporates all that ancient "One Day At A Time" Ann
Romano & daughters soap opera drama, as well) so much over the last
decade or two...

I'll go check old Sammy out... and tell your sister Will Dockery says
hello!

Thanks Will. She's in great shape. Tall, blond and athletic...

So have you hit on her yet or are you saving that for a post on your blog?

I'll go check old Sammy out... and tell your sister Will Dockery says
hello!

As if being related to Chuck wasn't ENOUGH to creep her out, NOW she's got
YOU wanting to say "hi?"

You must want her to have a nervous breakdown or something.

It seems David Lee is back with Van Halen and Eddie's son Wolfgang is
on bass...

I believe Eddie and Valerie are divorced but I saw Ms. Phillips who
played Julie on Larry King giving a spooky interview about having sex
with her father John Phillips of the Mama & Papas...

incapable of understanding?

No surprise. Alcohol has damaged your "brain cells." Quoted loosely because
there is circumstancial evidence that you lack said organ.

I know many of y'all are understandable pissed at me because of the
posters who follow behind me obsessively, so I've snipped this down
and hope you'll have a look at the new song by the local leader of the
folks scene in Shadowville, Rick Edwards:

The Forest In The Trees

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moL66V2SJZM

This ranks in my top 10 favorite new songs of the year... and I can't
even think of the other nine yet. "The Forest In The Trees", by Rick
Edwards. If you ever wondered why we call him the Folk Hero, this is
the place to start.

Cancer Benefit at Del Ranch in Smiths Station, December 13th

Del Ranch is one of those classic rural honky tonks that probably
would have fit in nicely in your first book, if you wrote one, just up
the road from Smith's Station High School, which Conway Twitty
attended for a while... the big promos coming next month will be on
the 2nd Schryl Carden Breast Cancer Benefit there on December 13th. I
played that one with Conley last year, and it was great fun, should be
even better this year, I'd wager:

http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/392/story/539130.html

Also, Del Ranch is launching a new open mic every Sunday night, hosted
by another of our illustrious Folk Heroes, Henry Conley... come sing,
or listen, and enjoy the unique DR experience, out in beautiful
Smith's Station, Alabama.
