I just received one of these from an estate. It dates back to the 1960's (sn
69476) It is in good shape except it is creased and dented near the bell. It
was probably banged or droped on the bell. Its seem the metal is light weight.
It sounds good and the valves move easily even though this instrument has not
been played since the early 1970's.

My question is where would the best place to get this repaired be and would it
be very expensive? Also two of the sliders are stuck.

This belonged to my wife's first husband who died in the 1970s at a young age
(27 yrs old) of Leukemia. His Mother just passed away and had this trumpet in
a closet all these years. So the value to the family is probably greater than
the market vvlaue it may have.

I would appreciate any information.
