I have available to me are the Getzen, Blessing and now the Kanstul.....I've
pretty well eliminated the others because of price and/or availability, or
on the advice of others who know more about them than I do. I know very
little about the Kanstul....I wonder if it compares favorably with the
Getzen.....

Looking at that picture, is the finger ring not in the way of the fourth
valve?
On my four vallve instruments they put the finger hook forward of the fourth
valve so you can choose not to use it when you are playing with all four
fingers.

the left hand....I never did that, but then, I was not a super fast player,
either.....I only used the forth valve for the lower pedal tones, and I
never had to play those very fast.

The first flugel I owned was a Blessing, and it was by far the
crappiest of the five I've owned.
I traded it straight up for a Treibert Moderne (made by Couesnon) and
never regretted it for an instant.
