I am ending my employment at Schilke Music Products on May 15.
Those who have been my customers over the last 24 years, I thank you and
always appreciated your ideas, friendship and business.

The Laskey Company officially opens on May 18.
I have been planning on this move for some time and have been developing a line
of mouthpieces that I think many will find unique and exciting. All of the
designs originate with many of the classic mouthpieces no longer available as
they once were, and mouthpieces I have created for many of the worlds leading
brass players, such as Doc Severinsen, Bud Herseth, Thomas Stevens, Jon Faddis,
George Vosburgh etc……

Along with this new venture, my colleague Ron Pinc and I have also developed a
process which returns many of the valued playing characteristics and sound
qualities of the Mt. Vernon and New York years to the current Elkhart Bach
trumpets. Many leading players in both orchestra and commercial playing already
use these conversions. Dave Bilger, George Vosburgh, Brian Perry, Brad Goode
and many others are only a few who have made the conversion to their trumpets.
