Hi everybody!

In 2 weeks I'll go on a trip to the southeast of the United States.
Which means Louisiana, Mississippi, Tenesse, North and South Carolina, a
little bit Florida.
What are the best places to hear good music? What is a must to go to?
I'm espacially interested in Jazz, Blues and related. Brass players
preferred, especially trumpet or cornet.

Thanks in advance.

Alex

Sorry for misspelling!

It's too late.....You've already started a new fad, called, "Goog
music".......Several singers are recording tomorrows hit recordings right
now, even as I write this........

Sure.....They called it a "synthecisor"......The guy across the street from
me built one. It was capable of making the wierdest sounds, using amplifiers
and oscillators......Another neat instrument from the same period was the
theramin.......It had two "rabbit ears", and you could control the pitch and
volume of its output by positioning your hands near them......If you shook
your hands, "parkinson style", you could get its tone to waver
nicely.........The monster movie producers relied heavily on both of these
instruments........

Since many children are just beginning to take trumpet lessons at school,
this is a great time to get our, GRIFTON SCHOOL AUDIO TEACHER for Beginning
Trumpeters - Book and CD. This Call and Response recording establishes a
meaningful "at home" practice session for the student, from "day one",
through the remainder of the year. We have even added piano accompaniments
for the little tunes at the back of book. This is NOT a "band method book",
but an adjunct to the classroom book.
If you are a classroom teacher, ask us about a "multiple copies discount"
for your students.
