Postings from Ritalin cases and spam seems to be the prevalent content
these days.

I wonder, has anyone ever actually bought something because of Google
groups spamvertising?

At least that idiot from some Drum & Bugle Corp seems to have
disappeared.

Usenet is a fickle beast. Switch to TPIN or a BB system like
TrumpetHerald and you'll find alot of folks you know. Including Dork
Vader.

He's gone? I thought I had just filtered him out.

Months of little or no trumpet content.
Just usenet kook awards and other crap, cross posted to many groups.

I used to really value this group.

I only check in occasionally, now. (Mostly to see if Abbed has posted
any audio files)

TPIN is pretty good.

Pops is rarely even there anymore. Seems to be using Facebook to his
advantage, though.

Actually, there was a fair amount of content. Just the noise-to-
signal ratio got out of whack.

Suggestion: if people want to talk about more trumpet here, post
something and try to garner a response. You'd be surprised how well
it works.

Wasn't there an old saying about letters? Something like "gotta send
them to get them"?

I've been spending a lot of time on the Trumpet Herald. It's still
pretty good, and Pops (and a few others there) are still active and
vey helpful.
