I have an old Cornet that I purchased and restored recently and I would
like to know if anyone knows anything about it.

Description

Beautifully engraved
Make/model: Dyer's Improved
Marked B & F and Made in Austria on the 2nd valve.
Nickel silver finish
Is relatively high pitched ie tuning slide is out almost 3" for 440
Has an tuning slide to lower it to A with the mark engraved
The mouthpiece tube is in the form of an backwards S from the 3rd valve
(naturally)
Has a shepard's crook type bell.

Most specifically I would like to know when it was made and who made it.

My belief is that it was made by Bohland and Fuchs, but further opinions
would be welcome.

Thanks in advance for any information.
