Can someone give me advice on how to reach high notes with braces on your teeth?
I have been playing for 4 years and just got braces on this summer.
Before I had my braces put on, I was able to hit a high G rather easily.
Now I am barely able to hit a high G and my endurance has dropped dramaticly.
I have to wear braces for the next two years, so I need a longterm solution.
Are their any mouthpieces, techniques, etc. that can help me?
Any advice would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.

Paul,

I have been playing with braces for three years now. I really have
not found a solution, but you may want to try "brace guards." They
are a couple pieces of soft plastic that you put over your braces so
the the braces do not impress themselves into your lip everytime you
play. Besides that, just do alot of lip slurs, they helped me with
range more than anything.
