Anyone have an opinion on the Blessing trumpet line?
They are very low priced compared to the big names.
My son is ready to move up from his beginner horn,
And I'm considering the Blessing intermediate or "pro"
level instruments.

Anyone know anything about them?

Thanks.

I have played several Blessing "pro" horns and I truly feel they are
junk. The construction even seems cheap to me, I.E., the way the horn
is put together... These horns play out of tune and sound terrible.

Sorry to any Blessing owners out there, but Steve, do yourself and
your son a favor and pick up a used Bach Strad... very decent "all
around" horns, and typically even beat up Strads play well.

Dale

In a way their junk, not entirely, freak.

(((True, but not on my trumpet, I was fortunate to get a good one))))

(((I admit my MLIS isn't all that, but hey, you're waaaayyyyyyy off.
As far as intonation, I'd say its better than the Getzen 700s ( my
opinion). No, they do not sound terrible, and NO, they DO NOT play
out of tune. Do you actually own one? My recommendatiion would be
for an advanced student or professional on a tight budget to atleast try
one. If you can afford a good horn, go fro someting made by Kanstul,
(high construction quality), F. Bessons, signature collections, chicago
models, Wild Thing, etc. The Blessing ML1s could also be considered
a good trumpet since your son is moving up from a beginning horn. Just
my thoughts)))))
