Ok, I've got the clearance to buy a new trumpet, but not many
Cincinnati Music stores stock many pro trumpets. I've got a Sam Ash
that has 1 new Bach 180-37 and on used bach 180-37 + they've got one
new Vintage One in silver plate. The dominant music store in the area
has the UMI lineup of King, Benge, and Conn and maybe a Yamaha laying
around. I'm only about 5 hours drive from Woodwind Brasswind, but my
wife and I are heading to Florida next week and I'm thinking with all
of the Cuban music scene + other Jazz and Swing there have got to be
some excellent stores.
We'll be starting in Deerfield Beach which is between Boca Raton and
Ft. Lauderdale. (Not too far too drive to Miami if there's a cool
store). We'll then head to Daytona for a few days then head to
Orlando. I don't think my wife will be too keen on our vacation
becoming a trumpet quest, if there are a couple of choice spots I'd
like to have a chance to compare some different horns.
I currently have a older Yamaha lightweight YTR-734 so my new horn will
likely be a heavier more traditional sounding horn. And I'll keep the
old one because it's like an old friend.

Thanks
Greg
