Price is $250 + shipping.

I purchased some of these and will not need one. I received them in
November, month, won't come with original box but will come with manual and
warranty registration card, etc. (The unit I am selling has not been used
and the cord is still in it's sealed packaging, etc.)

Audio Logic is part of the DOD/Harmon Intl. music corporation. Also, this
unit is far better than a dbx 166 (which I replaced with these) and the
Alesis units truly cannot be compared to the Audio Logic 266. This is "pro
gear" complete with XLRs and built in on & off switch, the way professionals
like it!

Model: Audio Logic 266 Dual Compressor/limiter/gate (STEREO)

The 266 provides a true peak limiter with Audio Logic's exlcusive
"Automatic-Variable-Knee Soft Limiting" characteristic. (many other limiters
use "peak stop" limiting, which clips the signal and generates high harmonics).

Low-noise VCAs and opamps, and integrated circuit layout with special
attention given to grounding, signal paths, and power supplies make the 266
superior to other units. Often compromised features like toroidal power
transformer for minimum AC line voltage emmission, barrier strip ground lift
jumper for flexibility in solving grounding loop problems, front panel power
switch, removable line cord, and quality contstruction from the chassis down
to the circuit board and jacks are indicative of the quality of the 266.

CHANNEL ONE AND TWO ARE IDENTICAL
-GATE CONTROLS: Threshold, Release, & Attenuation with a GATE LED
-COMPRESSOR CONTROLS: Threshold, & Ratio with GATE REDUCTION LEDs
-LIMITER CONTROLS:Threshold with Limit LED
-Signal Clip LEDs
-OUTPUT GAIN CONTROLS (allows a 20 db BOOST or cut for level matching)
-BYPASS SWITCH with bypass LED
-STEREO LINK SWITCH (for Stere Operation) with LED

CHANNEL INPUTS & OUTPUTS

INPUT: Electronically balanced/unbalanced XLR & 1/4" TRS jacks
Side Chain Input:1/4" unbalanced
Side Chain Output:Single Ended, impedence-balanced 1/4" TRS jack.
Output: Servo-balanced/unbalanced XLR jack & 1/4" TRS jacks. (The XLR & 1/4"
output jacks may be used simultaneously.
Ground Lift: Meteal 2-terminal barrier strip which allos separation of the
circuit and chassis grounds

SPECS:
THD + Noise: <10 Hz to 50 kHz, +0/1 dB
Hum + Noise: Better than -90 dBu: Less than 0.05%, 1kHz
Dynamic Range: Better than 112 dB
Maximum Input: +24dBu
Maximum Output: +22 dBm

Noise Gate: Threshold -60dB (open) to +10dBu, Attenuation 0dB (Bypass) to 72dB,
Attack 1 millisecond, Release 10 milliseconds to 5 milliseconds

Compressor:Threshold -40dBu to +20dBu, Ratio 1:1 to 30:1, Attack (program
dependent: i.e. 115 microseconds for 10 dB & 134 microseconds for 40dB ),
Release Program dependent: i.e. 7.5 milliseconds for 1 dB & 300 milliseconds
for 40dB.

Limiter: Theshold 0dBu to +24 dBu, Ratio infinity:1, Attack Program
dependent i.e. 4.6 microseconds for 10 dB, Release program dependent i.e.
300 microseconds for 1 dB

Output Gain: -20 dB to +20dB

Thanks!
Vic.

: hi,

Affordable for my music hobby means I can finance it for less than my car
payment each month. Affordable for my fishing affliction is whatever I
can walk out with for ten bucks. IOW define affordable. Also, what type
of music are you interested in, makes a difference in what you buy and in
how you go about recording it.

1)software like Cakewalk
2)I got my cheap keyboard Roland E-16
3)Sound card which has midi ports
