Howdy.....

I have been looking at the new Roland VR760 on the 'net.
Pretty neat...76 keys...Hammond-clone, piano and synth(expandable)
all in one package. My question is, how reliable are Roland products
when they are first introduced? I have been in
electronics/music/broadcasting for a long time and I see a lot of
manufacturers that introduce products with "bugs" that get fixed in
later versions that the people who purchase stuff when it first comes
out do not get to take advantage of. Make sense? Anyone know?

Thanks!

Usually very reliable. Roland are good at getting it right with synths
anyway.

Roland is top notch, top drawer with anything they do. They fully
stand behind their products as well. I've been a Roland man for over
10 years now. Tried Yamaha, tried Ensonic. Nothing compares to the
value, the sound or the durablility of the Roland Line. My latest is
the VA-7. It'll take me many months to fully comprehend all of the
features of this model and many more months of pleasure to be had from
the product. Enjoy!

Here here! If you want proof of Roland's durability, innovation, and
comprehensive range of features, look no further than their earliest synths.
They're built like tanks, and Roland will still service and even provide
parts for most of them. Best value for money amongst the analogue kingdom
in my book (barring x0x lunacy of course). I'm sure that ethos persists
today.
