Hello

Does anyone know what lead synth was used on the song 'Better off Alone' by
Alice Deejay. I'm speaking about the high lead riff through the song.
I've been hearing that sound now for one year and still haven't been able to
tell what synth the sound comes from.

Maybe some help on how it was created?

That classic, now played out, trance lead is a detuned saw wave on any
analogueish synth. I use my JP8080 and use the supersaw wave detuned to
another oscillator that is set to a regular saw wave. The detuning is the
key. You might want to add a chorus effect for good measure. Peace.

I don't know, really. BUT I'm able to re-create the entire song, note-
for-note on just my Korg Electribe ER-1 and EA-1 alone.

You're using your electribes better than me obviously--which of the two are you
using for the vocals?
